The below statements you are about to read is why come November most of the incumbent politicians on both sides will be voted out. So this country can start over with fresh blood, we have given the incumbent to many years to get it right. The next time we hear a politician use the word Billion in a casual manner, we the people need to think about whether we want the politicians spending our tax money. A Billion is a difficult number to comprehend, for most. Please let me put that figure into some perspective. As of Jan. 2008 A Billion seconds ago it was 1959. A Billion minutes ago Jesus was alive. A Billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age. A Billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet. A Billion Dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our Government is spending it. While this thought is still fresh in our brain, letâ??s take a look at New Orleans, Itâ??s amazing what you can learn with some SIMPLE DIVISION. Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu asked Congress for 250 Billion dollars to rebuild New Orleans. Interesting number, what does it mean? Well if you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (Every Man, Women, Child), you each get 516,528.00 dollars. Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans, your home gets 1,329,787.00 dollars. Or if you are a family of four, your family gets 2,006,012.00 dollars. I am sure Mary Landrieu will be one of those voted out.

Washington D.C. HELLO!!! â?¦Are all your calculators broke? That sure puts a Billion in perspective. Now not one of our taxes existed 100 years ago, and our Nation was one of the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no National debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home with the kids. What happened? Can you spell Politicians! This is how most Americans feel. And we still have to press 1 for English. Right is Right. Wrong is wrong. Most Americans know the difference. Let me give you an example, sure we need health care reform itâ??s the right thing to do, but when we have to promise the Unions, Louisiana and Nebraska in order to get the votes then this is WRONG. What does this have to do with Health Care. Another example: Bail Out money for the Banks and Auto makers. Whatâ??s the Right, Give only what they need. It is RIGHTâ?¦â?¦ Whatâ??s the Wrong, Adding Ear Marks, Pork what ever you want to call it. It is WRONG. This is why come, election time most incumbents will be voted out as they were in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts, and I am leaving my E-Mail if you would like to respond.
