It was announced today that Senator Reid added a provision to the health care bill to provide 100 million to the state of Loiusiana to secure the vote of Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana. This is of course tax dollars that we all pay used to bribe a senator to vote for a bill we do not want. That is using our hard work and our hard earned money to defeat us. This is an outrage and this sell out and all who vote for bringing this bill to the floor must be removed from office in their next election.

On Wednesday Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban All Firearms in the United States

On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major step in a plan to ban all firearms in the United States. The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.

This is not a joke nor a false warning. As sure as government health care will be forced on us by the Obama administration through whatever means necessary, so will gun control.

U.S. reverses stance on treaty to regulate arms trade

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush’s administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

In the news it was announced that there is a section in the house version of the health care bill that provides 10 billion to the unions for their health care pensions. It hasn't been talked about much but you should be aware of it.

 Dick Morris, author of the book "Catastrophe", has pointed out that we do not have enough nurses or doctors for those who are currently insured. He points out that if you add millions more people to the list of insured that it will cause a shortage of health care professionals and will cause delays in care.

 Today there were results from a pole of doctors and it states that 45% of the doctors polled said they would consider quitting or retiring if the Obama health care reform is passed.

 CRITICAL UPDATE:

 If you read the section on cap and trade you saw the section which explained that Clinton had signed our rights away to the UN in 1998. You should also have noted that Obama wants to sign the UN mandate over the children.

 I am of the opinion that we need to put our congressmen, both senators and representatives, on notice that we want a constitutional amendment which states something to this effect:

  CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT

 No branch of the federal government, nor any state of these United States of America, nor any individual serving in said governmental offices shall have the authority to assign to any other governmental country, state, or world body any right of authority, governance, or regulating ability over any state of these United States nor any citizen thereof.

 Whereas the government of these United States of America are acknowledged to be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people it is therefore a governing body operating under the authority granted by the people and the people grant no authority to this representative body to subjugate the people of these United States to any other governing body anywhere or at any time.

 It is further understood that no governing authority outside that granted by the people of these United States shall be recognized by the citizens of these United States for any purpose at any time. This amendment is to be retroactive and binding to the date of the signing of the constitution.

I recommend that we all send this to our representatives ( both state and federal) and push them hard to come up with an amendment to serve this purpose before our rights are all signed over to the UN and we no longer have them. To amend the constitution requires ratification by two thirds of the states, so they need to be aware and involved. It is possible that they may not be aware of the executive order that Clinton signed, and if so may not be aware of the implications of it, as the title sounds innocuous enough..... so you may need to send a copy and tell them we will have no more. The best place to get the copy is the web site I listed in the cap and trade article.

    This week in the news: Both the House and the Senate have voted to cut funding of ACORN and the Census Bureau has claimed they have severed ties with the group. We'll see how it turns out, but they are getting on track.
    
    Referring to my suspicions regarding the agenda of this administration mentioned in the Cap and Trade article, there was video this week on FOX NEWS of Obama giving a speech in which he said " the constitution is fundamentally flawed, the people who wrote the document were fundamentally flawed in their thinking and that flawed thinking continues to this day." 

    Again referring to the discussion in the Cap and Trade article, the link I was missing which explains their agenda showed up this week on the Glen Beck show. He had a diagram drawn on his blackboard to show where the thinking and associations came from and right there in the middle was the explanation.

    It is Cloward and Piven. They wanted to overthrow capitalism in favor of socialism and they wrote in their book that the way to accomplish that was not through violence but by getting so many people on welfare that you overload the system and break the country financially. Watch out for the call to give the 8 million illegal immigrants amnesty, and thereby health care. And if that happens it will be a magnet for millions more to flood across the border. This will overload the health and education systems.

    Their approach explains what we are faced with. Obama has put these radicals in every branch of government. The are trying to overburden the people with taxes, the government with debt, expand government exponentially, and break the economy.. all at the same time. BEWARE AMERICA!

    Glen Beck revealed a document this week which was obtained through the freedom of information act. It was from the Treasury Department and sent to the White House. The document is dated March 25, 2009. The document states that the cap and trade bill looks to produce somewhere between 100 and 200 billion dollars to the fed each year and the cost to the average family looks to be 1761.00 per year. (folks this equates to a TAX INCREASE of about 15% per year! and will not reflect the increased costs of food and clothing etc.)

    Henry Waxman stated in a speech in April that the cost to the average American would be about 40 cents per day! Either the White House did not share what they knew or he lied.

    On June 25, 2009, in his speech, Obama said that the cost of this cap and trade would be about " the cost of a postage stamp" per day. He lied. He had the document in the White House in March that said otherwise.

    It was announced this week that Investor's Daily had done a poll of doctors. In the poll 45% of the doctors polled said they would consider quitting if the Obama health care plan is passed.

    The Hannity show went to California this week to show the problems in the San Joaquin Valley because the water has been shut off to the farms. This issue was taken to a federal court of appeals but the decision to cut off the water was upheld by a federal judge. This to save a minnow. See my comments in the Manifesto about these left leaning judges.

    This sets a dangerous precedent in America. No democratic government has ever starved it's own people. These environmentalists have our lands and our lives in their sights. This is only the beginning. It is a glimpse of what our future holds. Americans must rally to stop this kind of nonsense while we still have farms, ranches, foods, and water in this country.

    ENTRY FOR 09-24-09:

    In the news; yesterday the office of Health and Human Services issued a letter to Humana to cease and desist writing customers regarding the health care reform legislation. It is essentially a gag order to silence them and other companies from letting their customers know of the loss of coverage and the costs to them of the proposed health care bill. It turns out that what Humana had said in its letter to insured's was correct, however the bigger issue is the attempt by the senate and the agency to silence free speech. This is unconstitutional. Humana is a corporation and under U.S. law a corporation is considered an individual and as an individual has rights of free speech which include the right to criticize government and governmental policies whether the criticism is accurate or not. 

    The agency (Health and Human Services) threatened Humana with federal investigations in an effort to silence them. This should outrage every American who values our rights of free speech. These violations of our constitution must not be tolerated. I encourage you to write your senators and congressmen and voice opposition to this outrage.

    My fear with all these socialist czars Obama has appointed is the massive amount of tweaking and re-writing of regulations and legislation which they will be doing behind the scenes and just how much will blind side us. In this weeks news I have found an example of exactly what I suspect is going on everyday while we are watching other things.

    In an article posted on the FOX NEWS site written by Phil Kerpen and dated September 23, 2009...titled "A Secret White House Power Grab is in Full Swing" Mr. Kerpen has revealed the following:

    "It is one thing for President Obama to surround himself with the advisers he'd like to have, but it's another to bestow on them sweeping powers to broker secret negotiations and push forward vast new regulations that could cost American families thousands of dollars."

    (If you have read my article on cap and trade then you know we are being scammed on the idea of greenhouse gas and man caused climate change. Yesterday the Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus openly accused Obama of "propagandizing" global climate change and stated that there is growing evidence that there is no man caused global warming and that we are being railroaded. )

    To continue with Mr. Kerpen's article; he goes on to say " Cap and Trade energy tax legislation appears stalled, at least for now, in the U.S. Senate. But that doesn't mean the cap and trade tax isn't imminent."

    "The Obama administration is unfazed. They are moving full steam ahead with an even more costly regulatory scheme in the name of global warming...shoehorning the regulation of greenhouse gases into the 1970 Clean Air Act, a bill passed before anyone had ever thought of global warming and that couldn't be less suited to the task."

    "Driving the push for this massive power grab and circumvention of the elected branches is a key White House official who avoided Senate confirmation by being installed not as EPA director, but instead as White House Climate Czar: Carol Browner."

    "Long before the Supreme Court ruled in a highly questionable 2007 case, Massachusetts v. EPA, that the EPA had the legal authority to justify its proposed 18,000 pages of greenhouse gas regulation under the Clean Air Act, Browner (then EPA director under President Bill Clinton) had her general counsel, Jonathan Cannon, prepare a now infamous memorandum arguing...for the first time....that the EPA possessed such a power. At the time it was dismissed as a wide-eyed overreach that Congress would never allow. Now it's happening, and Browner is right at the center of it."

    "Mary Nichols, the chair of the California Air Resources Board, has confirmed that Browner was the lead White House negotiator in establishing new automobile emissions standards, which for the first time rely on EPA's presumed authority to regulate greenhouse gases under the 1970 Clean Air Act. Nichols told The New York Times that Browner quietly orchestrated private discussions from the White House with auto industry officials. We put nothing in writing, ever, Nichols said."

    "Left unchecked, Browner will move beyond automobiles to EPA's entire staggering 18,000 page blueprint for regulating the U.S. economy."

    "It's bad enough that the EPA is moving ahead with plans to pursue expensive global warming regulations instead of leaving the complex issue to Congress, the branch of government constitutionally tasked with making laws. It's made much worse by the fact that the effort is being led not by Lisa Jackson, the duly confirmed and therefore accountable administrator of the EPA, but by Carol Browner, the unaccountable, unconfirmed White House Climate Czar."

    "Browner was made a czar so that her powers could be more sweeping than they would be in any single official appointment...witness her cross agency role in the secret automobile emissions regulations....and to avoid the scrutiny of Senate confirmation, which would have been difficult for Browner. Since leaving the Clinton administration she has moved further left, even becoming one of the 14 members of the "Socialist International Commission for a Sustainable World Society" on whose web site she was listed as a member as recently as January 5, the day she was named White House Climate Czar."

    "This commission pursues a clearly socialist agenda of centralized control under a regime of "global governance" that would enforce extreme environmental political correctness on a global basis. It's far outside the political mainstream and would have presented serious problems for centrist Democrats facing a confirmation vote."

    Browner was also reprimanded toward the end of her tenure at the EPA because, during an investigation, she was ordered, by the court,  not to destroy any emails or computer records. Browner ordered her staff to erase all computer hard drives and reformat them. She later claimed it was because her kids had loaded and played games on the office computers, but she obviously ignored court orders not to tamper with or destroy those records of office activities. She basically ended up with a slap on the wrist, but it should be noted that she obviously had something to hide.

    I would suggest to you that this individual will stop at nothing to enact her agenda and I suspect she has the full approval of the White House. This does not bode well for the American people.

    You should be aware of a DVD being sold to schools and churches. The DVD is entitled "The Story of Stuff". This DVD features Annie Leonard, a Green Peace employee, narrating. They have sold thousands of these. The DVD is produced and sold by the TIDES Foundation (a group of radical left wing which supports left wing causes and agendas). The DVD promotes socialism and undermines capitalism and free enterprize. You might want to check with your school and church to be sure your children are not being subjected to this. They are trying to re-educate our children to their way of thinking and undermine our country.

    While everyone was watching Iranian president Ahmadenijad on television Obama was signing away our sovereignty at the G20 summit.

    All the nations agreed to coordinate their economic policies and programs and to SUBMIT them to the IMF (International Monetary Fund) for approval.

    We are now to subject our most basic national economic policies to the review of a group of nations including Russia, China, and Saudi Arabia. Even though our GDP is three times bigger than the second largest (Japan) and equal to 13 of the G20 nations combined. We are to sit quietly by with our one vote and SUBMIT to the global consensus. Europe has 5 votes and we have 1.

    The process is to be administered by the IMF whose counsel to less developed nations over the past two decades has consistently called for social pain and austerity. The IMF'S misguided policies have been responsible for more revolutions than Marx, Engels, and Lenin combined.

    The G20 and the IMF will not only work to structure economic policies but also limit executive compensation. EXCUSE ME! SAY WHAT? We are going to sit back and let foreign governments set our wages now? And we are doing what about this?

    But that is not all...our fearless leader also sought to increase the voting strength of the debtor nations on the IMF from 43 percent to 48 percent....and he succeeded. 

    As a student of the constitution and of the thinking of our founders when they wrote it, I can tell you that they were strict separatists and did not believe in getting into entanglements with foreign governments. They saw that to do so would jeopardize freedom in our country. They would NEVER have submitted or surrendered our sovereignty to another for ANY reason. 

    I can find no authority granted in our constitution for any elected representative of our government to surrender any of our sovereignty to anyone at any time. There is absolutely no constitutional basis for any foreign government or legislative body to have authority over an American or an American business.  

    I have said before, and I stress again, that we must demand a constitutional amendment which clearly states that no president nor member of congress, nor the federal government as a whole has the right to surrender one iota of our sovereignty to anyone else.

    If the reader has not read the article on this site titled Cap and Trade, I recommend you do so. Clinton signed executive order no: 13107 on December 10, 1998..see "Trading U.S. Rights for U.N. Rules" in the article it also explains that Obama wants to sign the U.N. "Convention for the Rights of the Child". These should scare any thinking American to death. )

    They are signing away our rights and soon will just toss our constitution If we do not wake up and stop this we will wake up a ward of the U.N. shortly.

Update 10-09-09:

This week Nancy Pelosi let it slip that they are considering adding a value added tax to products we buy. This could be a costly proposition for all Americans. Watch this issue.

There are a number of different health reform bills floating around at this time and no one knows what the final bill might look like, however it appears that the way they have decided to fund it and keep it "deficit neutral" is to simply tax the folks enough to cover it. Surprise surprise. I guess you can make anything deficit neutral if you can continue to tax the hell out of the people. Pretty soon we will have nothing left to take.

The lower House of the Massachusetts legislature has passed a bill that would give the governor the power to quarantine citizens who refuse to get the H1N1 vaccine. The bill would give the governor power to move individuals to a designated internment camp, take property, enter without a warrant, and arrest. The governor has said he will sign it. It has yet to pass the upper house. It exceeds powers granted and violates the rights of the people.

Obama has said he prefers union workers to be used for federal contracts for highway construction. Since only about 8 percent of those workers are in a union, the administration has said the non union folks can be used....but they will have to pay dues to the union.

Edward Pinto testified in a congressional hearing 10-09-09 that the FHA appears destined for a bailout. Ed Demarco testified that both Fannie and Freddie have loans souring at "rates disturbing in both their magntude and the fact that they continue to increase." Both companies likely to need billions more along with FHA.

Today Newsmax magazine released an article by Dr Russell Blaylock, a reknowned neurosurgeon. He states he has read HR 3200 and that doctors are to be "conscripted" into the public health option. He states that the death panels are a fact and are described on pages 424 through 428 of the bill. There are numerous other concerns which should be of major concern to both patients and doctors alike.

I have made reference in the articles titled State of the Union and Regarding Liberty the dangers of our spending, our debt, and the process of inflating the dollar by the fed. I thought I would include some figures here as a point of reference for those who have already read those two articles. If you have yet to read them, you might want to do so and return here to see the figures.

The Congressional Budget Office released the final figures on the spending in the fiscal year which just ended on October 7th. The deficit is the highest in dollar amount EVER, more than triple last year's record high.

The expenses were extraordinary and just as insane as their ordinary spending which is up across the board as follows:
Social Security:    $659 billion, up 8.6%
Medicare:    $428 billion, up 9.8%
Medicaid:       $251 billion, up 24%
War spending     $636 billion, up 7%

The latest quarterly report from money managers Hayman Advisors, "In the 12 largest episodes of hyperinflations the tipping point for hyperinflation occurs when the government's deficit exceeds 40% of its expenditures....

According to the current Office Of Management and Budget projections....the U.S. will run deficits equal to 43.3 % and 39.9% of expenditures in 2009 and 2010 respectively. To put it simply, roughly 40% of what our government is spending has to be borrowed. One has to ask whether the U.S. has reached the tipping point.

A big question is how will the policymakers respond to sluggish to non-existent hiring? The economically illiterate, and those with pre-conceived "big government" agendas, will use any crisis as an excuse to expand government. You'll be ahead of the game if you realize.....as many in the media and academia clearly do not....that the government has no resources. It'll take money out of one of your pockets, skim some off for its cronies, and expect you to be grateful when they put some of it....debased by the Fed's inflation, of course...back into your other pocket.

The labor market is dealing with a structural imbalance fueled by government sponsored housing and credit bubbles. Many will call for the government to "solve" this labor market problem, which will cause a new type of market dislocation. By early 2010, some will be pushing for the government to start hiring the chronically unemployed in the "New Deal" type programs.....Look for prolonging the problems.

Today I received a new book that is a MUST READ FOR ALL PATRIOTS. It is "America For Sale", by Jerome R. Corsi PH.D.

Dr. Corsi reveals the same government plan my research has led me to conclude. He gives some details on what to expect and what to watch for....we are on this road. Everyone needs to read this and we need to stop it. Killing the health care reform, cap and trade, and amnesty for illegals. These are steps down the path we dare not tread.
